Santa Monica - Pink Bourbon

Jairo Arcila is father to Cofinet founders, Felipe and Carlos Arcila. Jairo has been working in the coffee industry for over 45 years - primarily as a mill manager for Colombia's 2nd largest exporter, RaCafe.

Since retiring in 2019, Jairo Arcila began working towards his managing his own coffee plantations. Santa Monica is one such coffee plantation alongside Mazatlan, Buenos Aires, Maracay and Finca Villarazo, one of the farms we sourced from last season.

Pink Bourbon is a unique variety, first discovered in Huila, Colombia. This variety is believed to by a natural hybrid of a local Colombian variety and an Ethiopian Landrace due to its disease resistance, floral flavour profile and genetic markers.
